Mendip's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 9pm August 11 2024 to 6am March 1 2025, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 northbound, on approach to Beckington Rbt, lane closure to facilitate with upstream full closure of the A36.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A36, from 8pm October 28 to 6am October 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Tellisford traffic signals for surveys.

A36, from 10am to 2pm on October 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Limpley Stoke to Beckington two-way signals for drainage.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
