Midsomer Norton Town Council officially announced the resignation of Councillor Christian Griffiths at yesterday's Full Council Meeting (9th January).
The Council posted the 'Notice of Vacancy in Office of Councillor' on their website today, stating: 'following the resignation of Cllr Christian Griffiths, a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for Midsomer Norton Town Council, Redfield Ward'.
Although the Town Council can fill the vacancy, the next round of elections to be on the Midsomer Norton Town Council will be held in May 2023.
