Next Saturday, July 13, marks the return of the fun-filled Midsomer Norton Town Fayre. The family extravaganza will run between 12pm and 4pm in the Town Park and Somer Centre, Gullock Tyning, Midsomer Norton. Attractions will include bouncy castles, market stalls, face painting, Punch and Judy, a range of musical entertainment, street organ, goat rides, balloon modelling, music workshops, a skate jam and much more. There will also be a range of refreshment stalls on offer from burgers and burritos to cider and gin. This year’s Maypole Dance Festival will also sees over 120 local school children taking part in the main arena outside the Somer Centre. Inside the Somer Centre there will be displays of art and photography as well as the popular tea room. This year’s Midsomer Norton Fayre will also host the ninth edition of the annual Town Show, celebrating the creativity of the people of Midsomer Norton and the surrounding area. Entries are invited across a range of categories from all ages and abilities. All entries will be displayed on the day of the Fayre inside the giant marquee.
