More road closures are planned for Radstock next week.

Bath and North East Somerset Council, under the authority granted by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has notified the public of its intent to implement a temporary road closure on a section of Frome Old Road, Radstock. This closure will commence from a point adjacent to the property known as Karlsruhe, with the Unique Street Reference Number (USRN) 47903362.

The purpose of this temporary road closure is to facilitate essential works that Bristol Water plans to undertake. Specifically, Bristol Water intends to replace a stop tap on the 18th of September 2023. This closure is expected to last for a maximum duration of 4 days. It's important to note that the road will only be restricted during the period when traffic signs are in place. The closure will be in effect for only as long as necessary to complete the required works, which is estimated to be approximately two days.

The Council have suggested motorists use the following alternative route: Frome Old Road (remainder) – Access road to Southfield – A362 Frome Road – Frome Old Road and Vice Versa.
