Wales & West Utilities are carrying out emergency works to a gas leak in the area.
On top of this, Wales & West Utilities have planned gas and mains upgrade works scheduled on the 29th of January. The work is expected to take two weeks, though it could take up to four.
According to the Traffic Regulation Order provided by Bath and North East Somerset Council's Highways & Traffic department, "The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole period but only for so long is as necessary to execute the works".
Currently, a one-way restriction is in place for all routes joining the cluster of three roundabouts in Radstock. Temporary lights are in place to control traffic flow.
Frome Road has been converted to a one-way system and is closed on one side. Travel is only permitted from the end of the road nearest the double roundabout.
The restrictions have caused multiple delays to traffic flow. First Bus took to X earlier today, warning of delays:
A few hours later, the bus company reported that the same services would be suspending a stop for the time being, due to long delays.
Gas upgrades planned for Church Street
