Paulton is a-buzz with exciting environmental projects. From Pride in Paulton’s amazing village planting, the new Red Lion Community Garden, local school garden groups, and the Cam Valley Wildlife Group, there’s plenty to celebrate and get involved with.

Rhea Warner, community organiser for Nextdoor Nature Somer Valley, said: “It was a beautiful moment to see all these groups lined up together at Paulton’s Party in the Park event and all are eagerly looking for more people to get involved - please do get in touch if you’d like to be involved.”

New paths, seating and vegetable beds have been created at The Red Lion Community Garden where local volunteers meet fortnightly on Saturdays. Why not pop by and see the space next time you’re passing? Even better, get in touch and offer to help out - their sessions are fun and friendly, with both garden work and wellbeing at their heart. The next session is on July 20.

With the Olympics coming up, Pride in Paulton have been busy getting creative building a DIY Olympic Podium photo stand, positioned outside The Hub for people to pose on.
