North Somerset's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 8pm May 12 to 6am June 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 to junction 21 lane closures for survey works.
• M5, from 8pm May 12 to 6am June 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 22 to junction 20 lane closures for survey works.
And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A4, from 8pm May 28 to 6am May 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 exit slip and southbound, entry slip closed for for electrical works, diversion via, junction 18, St. Brendans roundabout and return.
• M5, from 8pm May 31 to 6am June 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 exit slip road closed including single lane running through junction, diversion via M5 northbound to junction 20 to turn and return southbound to jct 21.
• M5, from 8pm June 4 to 6am June 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 22 to junction 20 lane closures for survey works.
• M5, from 8pm June 4 to 6am June 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 to junction 21 lane closures for survey works.
• M5, from 10pm June 4 to 6am June 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 21 exit slip closed, for survey works, diversion southbound to junction 22 and return.
• M5, from 10pm June 5 to 6am June 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closed, for survey works, diversion southbound to junction 22 and return.
• M5, from 9pm June 7 to 6am June 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 to junction 21, lane closure for electrical works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
