Lyndsay Newman, North Somerset Village Agent, celebrates ten years with the West of England Rural Network (WERN).
Lyndsay Newman covers the villages of Winford, Dundry, Barrow Gurney, Blagdon, Butcombe, Burrington, Redhill, Flax Bourton and Churchill and Langford, and is embedded in the communities that she serves. One rural resident had nothing but praise for her recounting a specific issue that she was helped with back in the summer.
‘Without Lyndsay’s local knowledge and support, I would not have been able to stay living in my own home for much longer. She has been a lifeline and goes above and beyond to help others’. Lyndsay’s WERN manager said that this type of feedback is a common occurrence, praising Lyndsay’s efficient, calm and pragmatic approach to her role which is always done with a smile. Her commitment to WERN and her rural communities should be celebrated in acknowledging this ten-year milestone.
