A fun, nine-hole team competition preceded Christmas dinner where ex-Lady Captain, Liz South, was presented with gifts in thanks for her hard work during her Captain's year.

Winning Ladies of 2012 were also congratulated and received their trophies, cups and awards for their year's achievements.

Club Captain, Mike O'Shea, joined Liz to present cheques to their chosen charities for their year. Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance received an amazing £9,170 raised from charity events, tombolas, open days etc. in the Men's, Ladies and Senior's sections. Frome and District Cats Protection League received £737.90, raised from the Ladies section raffles.

Thanks again to everyone who helped to raise monies for two extremely worthwhile causes.
