Paulton Methodist Church: The annual Paulton Quizzical was held at Paulton Rovers Football Club on 14th October where ten teams took part.

The winners were ‘The Solar Panels’ followed closely by the runners-up ‘No Chance’. The gallant wooden spooners were ‘The Four Candles’. The fantastic amount of £326 was raised from the evening which this year will be donated to the Somer Valley Foodbank to help those in need in this area.

A special ‘Thank you’ to our brilliant Quiz Master Martin Redwood and his team, and to Matt Redwood and Paulton Rovers for the sausage and chip supper and for the use of their premises. Hope to see you all again next year!

Just a reminder that our ‘Candles in the Darkness’ Service will take place on Wednesday, 1st November at 7 pm led by our minister Revd Christine Coram. All are welcome to come along and share in a quiet time of reflection as we remember loved ones who have gone before us but see no longer.

Ms Pat Heynes will lead our morning worship commencing at 10.30 am on Sunday, 29th October.
