A large congregation gathered on Sunday afternoon 16th July for the Circuit Farewell Service for the Revd Martin Slocombe. The service was led by the Revd Simon Topping, Superintendent Minster, during which Martin and his wife Helen were presented with gifts in appreciation of his Ministry amongst us over the past eight years. Martin and his family will be moving to the Bristol & South Gloucestershire Circuit shortly. Also during the service, Long Service Awards were presented to local preachers Mr Michael Lowe and Mr Ian Withers.
Our morning worship this Sunday 30th July commencing at 10.30 am, will be a Local Arrangement and will take the form of a ‘Summer Songs of Praise’. So please come along and join us – A very warm welcome awaits you!
