People living in Peasedown St John and Shoscombe will have lots of opportunities to get involved in a wide range of activities this Harvest.
Anglican Churches in both villages, which are part of the St J’s Group, have put together an action-packed programme for the upcoming Harvest weekend.
Leader of all three Churches, Revd Matthew Street, said; “Harvest is the time of the year we can all come together to thank God for our food, and all the gifts the land around us provides from clothing to furniture.
“Whether you are two years old, or 102 years old, come along to one of our Harvest celebration events this year.”
On Sunday, 24th September, these Harvest events will take place:
- 10.30 am – Morning Praise - St John’s Church, Peasedown St John
- 11.15 am – Holy Communion – St James’s Church, Foxcote (part of the Parish of Shoscombe)
- 4.30 pm – Soul Food Harvest Festival – St John’s Church, Peasedown St John
Matthew added: “Come along to one of our Harvest festivals this year, everyone and anyone will be given a warm welcome.”
