A PEDESTRIAN suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision with a moped-style scooter in Bath.

Police are now appealing for witnesses following the serious collision at the junction for London Road and Margarets Hill at around 7pm on Thursday, February 13.

Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement: “The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. They remain in hospital in critical condition. Their next of kin have been informed.

“The rider of the scooter is supporting our enquiries, which are ongoing.

“If you witnessed the collision, or the moments leading up to it, please call us.”
