A collision led to a stretch of the A39 to be closed in both directions this morning (October 24).

A single car was involved in a crash on the A39 Bath Road at Hobbs Wall, in Farmborough, but police confirmed nobody was injured.

Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement: “We received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Hobbs Wall, in Farmborough, at around 6am today (Thursday, October 24).

“Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, but the road was closed while the vehicle was recovered and while debris and mud was cleared from the road.”
