Midsomer Norton & Radstock Branch of the Royal British Legion have announced the figure raised for this year’s Poppy Appeal. The current total for the 2023 Appeal stands at £24,025.04.

However, this only accounts for the amount which is known to have been collected. Just one wreath payment outstanding for £27.50.

The Branch will not know the final total until the Royal British Legion come back with an official total in the months ahead. What the total does not show and what the Branch cannot know is the amount raised from the new QR Code which was in evidence across the Branch area until the RBL advise us.

The amount raised is totally down to the time, enthusiasm and loyalty of our poppy volunteers and the generosity of all the people who donated. My thanks go out to all of you.
