PEOPLE keen on buying a pub listed as an asset of community value (ACV) are urged to express an interest to Bath and North East Somerset Council by March 21.

The current owner of The Inn at Freshford informed the council of the intention to sell-up on February 7,

ACVs are defined in the Localism Act 2011 to enable communities the right to identify and nominate land or buildings that are important to them.

If a valid bid from a community interest group is received, then the full moratorium period will be triggered and will run until August 7, 2025.

Requests for bids can be made to Bath & North East Somerset Council by emailing [email protected] by March 21, 2025.
