Tabor Independent Methodist Church: Mrs Margaret West led a very informal Service, which was very well received with the congregation enjoying tea/coffee and cake whilst reflecting on the theme of “Potholes and Promises”.
Mrs West showed how the potholes of life could be counter-acted with happy events and promises of hope.
The half-term coffee/craft/chat morning included the making and eating of pancakes. It was good to see so many people in the Church; some were making crafts, others enjoying a social time with their friends over coffee. There were many activities for the children, doing a craft, playing games, guessing the name of the cat and how many Jammie Dodgers were in the tin, but the highlight of the morning for them was – cooking and eating pancakes!
There is no Service on 25th April.
