Midsomer Norton High Street has seen a lot of planning applications recently, including the controversial Mcdonald's. Now Pepco, owner of Poundland, have announced their plans to open 75 stores across the UK, including Midsomer Norton!

Pepco, owner of Poundland announced on Wednesday, 25th October they will be opening seventy five new stores across the UK and Ireland by the end of 2023.

Following the demise of Wilko, Pepco agreed a deal early in September to buy seventy one Wilko stores from the administrator PwC.

In a plan to expand their portfolio, Pepco will be opening and relocating 75 Poundland stores with Midsomer Norton's set to open on 38 High Street, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, BA3 2DL (former M&Co store), in December, just in time for Christmas.

Opening dates for the UK stores have not yet been confirmed.
