B&NES Council announce cancellation to drainage improvement works planned for today on Church Street/Kilmersdon Road, Radstock.

BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL(THTTC3264CHURCH STREET / KILMERSDON ROAD, RADSTOCK)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers undersection 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be totemporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Church Street / Kilmersdon Road, Radstock from a point outside the property known as Manor Farm extending south for approximately 110 metres.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out drainage improvement works to remove highway flooding on the 23rd October 2023 for a maximum period of 7 days.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.
This is anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Street (remainder) –The Street–A367–B3139–Charlton Park Road–Kilmersdon Road –Vice Versa.
