A day of litter picking has been arranged for the beginning of next month thanks to the Wombles of MSN & Surrounding Area. They've managed to get the B&NES Clean and Green Team on board to help with their efforts on the 6th of February.

Anyone is welcome to take part in the area clean up. Litter pickers and bags will be available from the Community Hub and Library, and helpers will be welcome to tea, coffee and cake upon their return.

The event may be held over a few days, depending on the weather.

An event has been set up by Radstock In Bloom on Facebook for the outing.

Bath & North East Somerset Council have invested an extra £950,000 in their Clean and Green scheme to provide more street cleaning, free graffiti removal for domestic properties and a new ‘Clean and Green’ team to respond to issues reported by residents.
