Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 8am July 1 to 6am July 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Bathampton to Beckington 24/7 multi way signals for drainage.

A36, from 9am July 15 to 3pm July 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bathampton to Beckington, rolling stop and go boards for drainage works.

And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A4, from 10pm July 22 to 4am July 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 both directions London Road Rbt to Bathford Rbt, mobile lane closure for Horticultural works.

A36, from 8am July 27 to 6am August 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Bathampton to Beckington 24/7 multi way signals for drainage.

A36, from 9.30am August 5 to 4pm August 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 both directions Claverton, two-way traffic lights for Third party tree works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
