Drivers in and around North Somerset will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M5, from 9pm February 24 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 exit slip, lane closure installed by Traffix for Gordano Services remedial works.

M5, from 8pm February 26 to 6am February 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closure, for improvement/Upgrade scheme, diversion via M5 southbound to junction 22 and return northbound.

M5, from 9pm February 28 to 6am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to junction 19, lane closures for mobile VMS removal.

M5, from 10pm March 6 to 6am March 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 exit slip carriageway closure for general maintenance, diversion via M5, junction 20 and return.

M5, from 9pm March 7 to 6am March 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to 19, lane closures for general maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
