Drivers in and around North Somerset will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start this week:
• M5, from 9pm June 22 to 6am June 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 to 20 lane closure for survey works.
• M5, from 8pm June 24 to 6am June 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to 19 lane closure for survey.
• M5, from 9pm June 27 to 6am June 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 to 20 lane closure for survey works.
• M5, from 9pm June 29 to 6am July 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to 19 lane closure for survey works.
• M5, from 9pm July 4 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 22 to 21 - carriageway closure for surveys. Diversion via A38 and A370.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
