Drivers in and around North Somerset will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8pm February 17 to 6am February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 19 to junction 20 lane closure for drainage.

M5, from 9pm February 21 to 6am February 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to junction 19, lane closures for mobile VMS removal.

M5, from 9pm February 24 to 6am February 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 exit slip, lane closure installed by Traffix for Gordano Services remedial works.

M5, from 8pm February 26 to 6am February 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closure, for improvement/Upgrade scheme, diversion via M5 southbound to junction 22 and return northbound.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
