Drivers in and around North Somerset will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9pm October 17 to 6am November 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to 19 lane closures for surveys.
• M5, from 10pm October 17 to 6am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to 18 - Lane closures for Structure maintenance.
And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M5, from 10pm October 26 to 6am October 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 exit slip closed for drainage, diversion via, junction 20 and back.
• M5, from 8pm October 31 to 5am November 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 21 to 22 - carriageway closure for Reconstruction/Renewal *diversion via A370 and A38.
• M5, from 10pm October 31 to 6am November 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 entry slip closed for carriageway repairs. Diversion via, junction 21 and return northbound.
• M5, from 9pm November 2 to 5am November 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 22 entry slip road closed for tree removal works. Diversion via M5 northbound to junction 21, to turn and return southbound.
• M5, from 9pm November 3 to 6am November 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 to 20 lane closures for surveys.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
