Drivers in and around North Somerset will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M5, from 9pm November 11 to 6am November 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 to junction 21 lane closure for inspections.

M5, from 8pm November 13 to 6am November 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 entry slip closed for structure inspections, diversion via M5, junction 21 and return.

M5, from 8pm November 15 to 6am November 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 entry slip road - carriageway closure barrier repairs, diversion via M5 southbound, exit, junction 21, turn and re-join M5 northbound.

M5, from 8am to 4pm on November 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 21 to 22, hard shoulder closure for surveys.

M5, from 9pm November 18 to 6am November 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21 northbound, exit slip road and southbound, entry slip road closed for inspections, diversion to junction 20 and return.

M5, from 8pm November 21 to 6am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 exit slip road, lane closure for for electrical works (total closure of A369 Portbury Hundred), .

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
