Drivers in and around North Somerset will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M5, from 8am to 4pm on November 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 21 to 22, hard shoulder closure for surveys.

• M5, from 9pm November 18 to 6am November 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 21 northbound, exit slip road and southbound, entry slip road closed for inspections, diversion to junction 20 and return.

• M5, from 8pm November 21 to 6am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 exit slip road, lane closure for for electrical works (total closure of A369 Portbury Hundred), .

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
