Drivers in and around North Somerset will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 9pm January 27 to 6am January 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 exit slip, lane closures leading to partial closure of, junction 19 roundabout for structure works, diversion via M5 southbound to junction 20 and return.
• M5, from 8pm February 3 to 6am February 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 exit slip, lane closure for local authority works.
• M5, from 8pm February 4 to 6am February 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 exit slip, lane closure for local authority works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
