Drivers in and around North Somerset will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8pm February 3 to 6am February 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 exit slip, lane closure for local authority works.

M5, from 8pm February 4 to 6am February 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 exit slip, lane closure for local authority works.

M5, from 8pm February 9 to 6am February 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closure, for improvement/Upgrade scheme, diversion via M5 southbound to junction 22 and return northbound.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
