TWO members of the Somerset Miners Welfare Trust recently visited the newly established Hearts Talks hub in Midsomer Norton's town square.
Bryn Hawkins, chairman, and Mo Duery, treasurer of the trust, heard from Heart Talks founder, Chantelle Walmsley, whi provided an account of her journey in establishing and developing the non-profit organisation.
Chantelle and her team of volunteers work tirelessly to provide a comprehensive peer support network for bereaved parents and families navigating the emotional challenges of IVF, pregnancy loss, and baby loss.
The organisation offers comfort care packages, access to a resource library, and provides signposting and information to support families in need.
During the visit, Mo Duery presented a cheque for £500 on behalf of the Somerset Miners Welfare Trust to support the work of Heart Talks.
