Pupils at St. John’s Primary School had an amazing day celebrating World Book Day.

In addition to seeing a fantastic array of character costumes throughout the school and associated art activities, various year groups were treated to a visit either from author Ash Bond, sharing her first children’s novel ‘Peregrine Quinn and the Cosmic Realm’, or a virtual visit with John Patrick Green, who showed how to draw the characters from his ‘Investigator’ series of books.

On Friday, children were invited to a ‘Book Swap’, providing every child with the opportunity to choose a new book to discover and enjoy at home.
