Local swim school Puddle Ducks Bristol and Bath are celebrating reaching 15 years in business with the launch of a new pool in Evercreech, Shepton Mallet.

The successful swim school which has 40 employees, teaching close to 1500 children across 12 pools, will launch at the new purpose-built pool in September in order to meet the increased demand for their swimming lessons.

Owner of Puddle Ducks Bristol and Bath, Sarah Austin commented: “This anniversary is a real testament to our loyal employees and customers who have supported us throughout the years and helped us to build a strong reputation, enabling us to expand our award-winning classes in Somerset”.

Sarah added: “Looking back at the timeline of our business it’s wonderful to see the longevity we’ve had. So many of our brilliant team members have stayed with us for years, we launched our Swim Academy lessons in order to teach the older children who didn’t want to leave! And we still teach at two of the pools where we launched Puddle Ducks in our very first week - Parson Street School in Bristol and Redhill House near Bristol Airport.

The new lakeside pool is located in Evercreech, Shepton Mallet and is heated at 32 degrees making it the ideal location for swimming lessons for all ages, holding baby and pre-school classes through to Swim Academy.
