The Tabor Ringers, based at Tabor Church Timsbury, recently held their AGM.

All current officers were re-elected to serve another term. In her report the Secretary outlined the various venues at which the group had played during the year. She also informed the members of all the dates booked for the forthcoming season. It looks to be a busy one.

During the Summer break the bells had been sent to Bells of Whitechapel Ltd in Bromley to be overhauled and refurbished. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that, taking into account the age of the bells, they are in quite a clean condition and are reasonably well in tune as a set. As this was the case the refurbishment was a lot less than anticipated. They are now being returned in readiness for the new season.
