The Tabor Ringers, based at Tabor Church, recently entertained the residents of Combe Lea in Midsomer Norton.

The audience were very appreciative and joined in with singing the songs, whilst some of the more mobile ones took to dancing! This was the first engagement of the winter season but carried out in beautiful sunshine. It was hard to think that, at rehearsal next week, we will be preparing for Christmas, when the Christmas Carols will be taken out of our music library and inserted into our winter repertoire.

As the sound of the bells and chimes lend themselves to the Christmas Season, bookings are coming in quite rapidly and the next few months look to be very busy, with a booking already in the diary for December 2024. Tabor continues to hold fortnightly Services, with the next one on 29th October, and also acts as a dropping off point for donations to the Somer Valley Foodbank.
