AN Open Art Competition is being held at The Cam Valley Arts Trail Spring Sale, Conygre Hall, Timsbury, on 13th May.

Calling all aspiring artists! Spring is here and we are celebrating its arrival with a competition for all creative folk eleven years and over.

The theme will be “Spring”, and we are asking for postcard size entries (A6).

Feel free to interpret the theme any way you think fits the title.

All entries will be exhibited at the Spring Sale and the competition will be judged by Martyn Plant, Art teacher, Trustee of Midsomer Norton Community Trust and Arts Organiser.

There will be a prize of £50 cash.

So, get painting/drawing/collaging, or whatever, tell your friends, and come and see what talent we have in our community!

All entries should be sent, with a SAE, to Suzy Williams, The Cottage, Upper Radford, Paulton, BS39 7PU by Wednesday 10th May.
