Last week’s Mystery Photograph proved quite tricky as we saw a photograph from the inside of Welton Brewery.
Many thanks to Lucy Tudor who said: “This Mystery Photograph is taken inside Welton Brewery vat house c1900-10.
“Owned by the Thatcher family since around 1840, Welton Brewery closed in 1916.
“The brewery building is still in existence and is intended that it be regenerated when all the other Welton Bag buildings are demolished and the land is redeveloped.”
Thank you again to Radstock Museum for supplying such an interesting photograph.
Well done to Paul Hancock, Simon Chard, Roy Barnes, Val Rogers, Robert Wilcox, Jeff Parsons, Graeme Harrington, Les Box, Graeme Harrington, Moira Lai, Paul Kirkwood and Hannah Selway for guessing Welton Brewery correctly.
