The show was a huge success attended by friends, relatives and many others who wanted to support this event.

The show was enjoyed by a packed hall and were entertained by a selection of songs covering the seven decades of the Queen’s reign.

Following the interval for refreshments and a raffle draw, the second half included audience participation in a sing-along of songs from the past and ending the show with a rousing rendition of Queen’s “We are the Champions”.

Group members kindly made the cakes and donated all the raffle prizes and the show raised a wonderful £528 for the charity. Thank you to everyone who supported this occasion.

Thank you to Dave Connor, u3a member, who has also donated £75 for the Ukraine Crisis Appeal from revenue from his Tai Chi classes in Holcombe.
