Welton Rovers manager Tom Smith has had to leave his role due to work commitments.
Smith has been with Welton for the last 13 years, the first eight as a player and the last five as manager of Welton’s first team.
During his time as manager, he has taken the club back to the Toolstation Western League Premier Division after beating Warminster Town in the first ever Toolstation Western League play off final.
During the promotion season, under his guidance, Welton had a remarkable unbeaten run of 21 games. He has made the decision due to work commitments and a change of career path. The board, players and supporters of Welton Rovers would like to put on record their grateful thanks to Tom for all his efforts, commitment and energy during his time with the club and wish him all the very best for the future.
