Martin will lead a guided walk around the village revealing the rich history of Kilmersdon answering questions such as:
Do you know the origin of the story behind the famous Jack and Jill nursery rhyme? Do you know when the first free school was built in Kilmersdon ?
When was the new Toll Road built ? Where was Kilmersdon Manor? Why was the lock-up known as the blind house? The history walk will finish with afternoon tea at the Joliffe Arms.
Martin has said that the walk should not be physically challenging.
The tickets for the walk are available from Radstock Museum during museum opening hours from Sunday, 29th May. There are thirty tickets available on a first come first served basis. The time and meeting place details will be given to you when you buy your tickets.
