In a letter to The Journal, a resident has outlined his concerns on the detection of radon gas in Midsomer Norton, asking what measurements are taking place for safety.
Radon gas:
You report that yet more houses are to be built.
Many of us with houses here already have radon gas detected. It can have cancer effects.
Are suitable protective measures being made in all new buildings?
Surely they is an overriding legal requirement under ‘Duty of Care’?
If the new nursing home is taking measures, one would have thought housing and schools should too?
Sincerely,
