Local resident Cliff Shellard has come back with comments from his neighbours regarding the grass cutting debacle in Charlton Park.
“
Since my last letter I can now confirm that Charlton Park has had the opportunity to voice its opinions on the state of grass cutting on our estate.
I would like to thank the residents for taking the time to participate in the questionnaire last weekend.
Thanks also have to go to our B&NES Councillors, Sarah Evans and Tim Warren for raising, and designing the questionnaire, then both distributing and collecting them from the whole estate. Thank you.
The result of the exercise was emphatic, showing an overwhelming discontentment with the authorities decision to leave the grass un mowed, promoting a move towards a scruffy unkempt environment, the results include all grass cutting - “no mow May” as well. Our Councillors are now going to lobby B&NES Council and look for a satisfactory conclusion.
