I read with interest the letter last week from Simon at Camerton. 

I found myself agreeing with most of his views until his suggestion of putting a McDonalds at an out of town venue such as by Tesco.  Very much a “nimby” suggestion.  

The residents of Old Mills, where the Tesco store is situated, will not want a McDonald’s dumped on them either.  

We already suffer with residue from the uneducated, dragged up, litter louts who use gateways in Langleys Lane, Old Mills Lane and theIndustrial Estate to dump the packaging from their evening snacks simply by throwing them out of the car window. 

Old Mills residents already have enough of a problem on our hands trying to stop the totally unnecessary, unwanted and ill thought out SVEZ.  Please don’t foist any more unwanted problems on to Old Mills.
