Who ever was it that dreamed up bringing the Town Hall back to its “former glory”?

 I would have thought the High Street itself needs more attention before the Town Hall.

The projected final cost of the refurbishment at this time is £2,280,097.  You can be sure that just like the HS2 and Crossrail, the final cost will double or treble.

Most of the Councillors will be dead in 50 years time  leaving the then ratepayers to carry the ever- continuing burden.
