A total of 27 Teams played in Mendip’s Mendacious Bowmaker. The event was won by Chris White/Nick White/Steven Baker with 74 points. 2nd came Peter Grafton/Patrick Wiseman/James Darby Jones with 73 after count back from Justin Barrow/Nigel Cheshire/Tony Taylor. Geoff Collard/Stefan Golledge/David Golledge were fouth with 70.

65 Ladies played in the nine-hole qualifying Stableford. Division one was won by Linda Papadopoullos with 17 points after count back from Fran Davies and Lynne Vowles. Division two went to Chris Down with 18 points with young Harper Howerd second with 17 after count back from Karen Cookson. However, the best score of the day was in division three from Rebecca Edwards with a fine 22 points, one point ahead of Suzie Howe with Caroline Laws third with 19.

105 Seniors played in the Singles Stableford. Division 3 went to Robert Berry with 37 points, Andy Price was second with 36 after count back from Sandy Keen. Division two was won by Martin Wilkins with 38 points, Phil Brocks was second with 36 and Colin Davies was third with 35. Division one went to the in form Nigel Cheshire with 35 after count back from Martin Stephens with John Stembridge third with 33. However the overall Winner, well clear of the field was Chris Giles with 41 points.
