THE week started well for Paulton Bowls Club when the ladies won against Castle Cary.

This was followed with a victory in a mixed friendly at home against Shepton Mallet where, despite some very close games with two rinks each, Paulton won overall on points.

The women maintained their winning streak with a ten points to two win away against Norwest in the Ladies league.

The men could not build on this club form away at Norwest in the MSL league. However, it is still early days with the next fixture being away at Frome Selwood.
