THE Weekend Stableford at Mendip Golf Club saw 110 entrants. The winner was 16 handicap Cameron Elliot with a fine 43 points, four point clear of four players on 39 points which, after count back, saw Paul Taylor finish 2nd, with David Forshaw 3rd, Anthony Logan 4th and Paul Lewis 5th.

Forty four Ladies played in the Mix Up Bowmaker event. In 3rd place, beaten on count back were a 3 person team of Gina Howard, Carol Howerd and Sally Humphries with 68 points In 2nd place was another 3 person team of Jenny Merrett , Karen Cookson and Anne Collins but the very clear winners were Allison Rummings, Diane Stanton, Lynne Vowles and Suzie Howe who came home with 77 points.

Fourteen pairs played in the annual Mixed Foursomes event at Mendip. This saw a win for David and Susan Forshaw with a net 74 with Glynn Haddock and Sarah James 2ndwith 75, Pippa Brown and Clive Copp were 3rd with 78 and Rosemary Brown and John Ward 4th with 79.

The Longest Drive Competition saw Victoria Ham win the Ladies, Steve Davis the Seniors and Drew Foley the Mens.
