AN intrepid team of care home workers from Barchester Healthcare’s Crandon Springs care home in Wells tackled the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons to raise money for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation.
The Foundation supports older people and other adults living with a disability or mental health problems by helping them to connect or re-connect with others in their local communities.
Sophie Hoskins is normally the General Manager at Crandon Springs, but on September 8 she rallied her team and took on the mammoth task of climbing to the top of the 886m summit of the highest point in the Brecon Beacons, in order to raise funds for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation.
No strangers to a charity challenge, the team at Crandon Springs put in sheer grit and determination to achieve this monumental challenge.
The team has already raised £940.00. If you would still like to support them on their win, there is still time to donate, please visit HYPERLINK "https://www.justgiving.com/page/crandon-springs-pen-y-fan-climb?newPage=true" Crandon Springs is fundraising for Barchester's Charitable Foundation (justgiving.com) all donations will be gratefully received.
