Jibber Jabbers are the Clutton Social Club Summer Skittle 2017 Champions.

The Jibber Jibbers beat the Phil’s Followers by just a half-point after fifteen weeks of competitive, all-in skittles, which began in May 2017. The team were awarded £750, while the Phil’s Followers were given £500. The Young Ones, who came in third place, were given £250. Geoff Bailey had the highest score, (57) and was also given £250.

At the Presentation Evening on 25th August, Spoons (Nat’s Baps) won the Singles with a score of 52, receiving a prize of £100. In second place on 45, Norman Webb and Tony Thompson shared a prize of £50.

Clutton Social Club intend to run this competition again from May 2018. It is open to non-members, and teams consist of four members playing all-in. Those interested can contact the organiser on: 01761 453562.
