THIRTY x 4-man teams played in the Centenary Trophy at Mendip Golf Club and scoring was very competitive.

Terry Carter/Paul Merrett/Justin Barrow/Jim Scott were 5th with 87 after count back. In 4th came Sean Thatcher/Sam Thatcher/Samuel Weston/Ryan Davis also with 87. David Jukes/Nigel Coleman/Rob Edney/Paul Lewis were 3rd with 89 losing to Chris White/Tim Crew/Baden Wilkinson/Nigel Pidgeon on count back.

The winners with 90 points were Paul Smith/Martin Myers/Dale Rowe and that man again Andy Parfitt.

Thirty-seven Ladies played in the Centenary Plate. Victoria Ham with a net 74 came 4th, beaten on count back by Susan Forshaw. Susy Rudkin with 73 was 2nd but the winner was one of the very young Juniors Harper Howerd, playing off a 32 handicap who carded a 6 under par net score of 69. Back in March Harper was playing off 40.

Forty-eight Ladies played in a Reverse Arizona Shuffle which saw a wide variety of scores. Lyn Cox/Lynne Vowles/Maureen Charlton/Pauline Young were 3rd with 72 points, Jinhee Page/Jane Richardson/Jane Ball/Linda Papadopoullos were 2nd with 75 and in 1st place with  77 were Caroline Laws/Lally Gibson/Carol King/Lizzie Wood.
