Claverham won by 35 runs
Midsomer Norton travelled to Claverham last Saturday. Captain Potter won the toss and elected to bowl first. The visitors struggled to make an early breakthrough, despite bowling well. Hampshire was the pick of the seamers, his ten overs were rewarded with four wickets. After Clifton was removed, Norton were unable to put together any serious partnerships. Vice-Captain Lear continued his excellent start to the season to top score with 55. The innings ended 35 runs short of the target and Norton will be looking to kick-start their season at home to Twyford House this Saturday. The match starts at 1 p.m.
